By using DoryPlan.com or purchasing DoryPlan products, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language because that's how we do things.

What You're Buying

DoryPlan sells step-by-step boat-building plans in digital (PDF) and printed formats. When you purchase plans, you receive a personal-use license to use them to build a boat for yourself.

Personal Use Only

The plans are for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

• Copy, redistribute, or resell the plans in any format
• Share digital files with others
• Use the plans to produce boats for commercial sale
• Post the plans or their contents online

You're welcome to build as many dories as you like for yourself, your family, or as gifts. If you're interested in commercial use, email support@doryplan.com and we'll work something out.

Your Build, Your Responsibility

The plans provide detailed instructions for building a 16' Grand Banks dory, but the outcome of your build depends on your skills, materials, tools, and working conditions. DoryPlan.com provides the information — you're responsible for the execution.

We do not guarantee any specific result. Boat building involves inherent risks, and you assume full responsibility for your safety and the seaworthiness of anything you build. Always follow safe workshop practices and local maritime regulations.

We make every effort to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but we don't warrant that it's complete or error-free. The site and its content are provided "as is."

Third-Party Services

Purchases are processed through Shopify. Digital plans are delivered by Filemonk. Printed plans are fulfilled by Lulu Direct. Each service has its own terms and privacy policies. We link to third-party sites for convenience, but we're not responsible for their content.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
